KNOTS INTELLIGENCE BY MISP

Marine intelligence.
In your vessel’s context.

The next chapter in marine intelligence brings engineering, the surrounding environment and connected data into the same conversation. A closer understanding of your boat starts here.

Knots Intelligence by MISP is Sailub’s marine intelligence system. It brings AI assistance into the context of vessel engineering, available measurements, model information and relevant environmental data through Stimulate.

More than an isolated sensor reading.

The same observation can mean different things on different boats. Equipment, configuration, operating conditions and the available evidence all affect the questions a crew or owner needs to ask.

Knots Intelligence connects marine questions with the vessel context available to it. This includes supplied engineering information, connected signals and relevant environmental inputs where those sources are configured. The breadth of that context depends on the vessel’s data connections.

Engineering gives the data meaning.

Physics-informed marine intelligence considers how a vessel and its systems behave, alongside the data they produce. The useful connection is between an observation, the system it belongs to and the assumptions behind an interpretation.

In Sailub’s approach, measured data, declared specifications and model estimates remain distinct. AI-generated explanations and model outputs should be reviewed against the underlying evidence. They do not replace the judgement of the skipper, crew or a qualified engineer.

Pulse. The connection on board.

Pulse is the onboard edge-device layer in Sailub’s marine intelligence vision. It is designed to connect vessel signals with Knots Intelligence and the Stimulate workspace.

The architecture connects onboard systems, an edge layer and a shared marine workspace. Hardware configuration, supported connections and availability are defined for each pilot. Discuss the installed equipment and connectivity requirements with Sailub before choosing a deployment.

Make the context specific to your vessel.

Personalisation starts with the details that make a boat different: its equipment, supplied specifications, connected signals and the conditions around it. A meaningful pilot starts with those sources and the questions your team wants to explore.

  • Which vessel systems and engineering details are available?
  • Which live or historical measurements can be connected?
  • Which environmental inputs are relevant and accessible?
  • How will the team check the quality of an explanation?

Contact Sailub to explore Knots Intelligence and Pulse within a Stimulate pilot, or open your existing workspace to use the features available for your vessel.
